Girl’s Inc. is a perfect match with the philosophy and purpose of my life and business. I had been searching for a way to “give back” to my community that would align with my goal to make a HUGE positive impact in the lives of women and girls all over the globe. I kept waiting patiently for an organization to come into my awareness that valued the feminine, inspired women and girls to live into their strengths, gifts and talents, that was socially and fiscally responsible AND had a huge heart for female empowerment. What is it that people say? Ask and you shall receive! So here I am serving and empowering the young women in my community to explore and discover their authentic way of being. I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to be making this positive impact!

Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley, founded in 2006, is an affiliate of Girls Incorporated, which serves girls across the United States and Canada. With roots dating back to 1864, Girls Incorporated is the oldest girl-focused organization in the United States.
Here in Redding, Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley is all about empowering local girls. We serve Shasta and Tehama county girls, ages 6 to 18, by offering a wide range of in-school, after-school and extracurricular programs. These research-based programs build girls’ self-esteem, transform their views of themselves, and help them recognize their potential as leaders, friends, innovators and independent thinkers. Girls Inc.’s mission is to inspire girls to be “strong, smart and bold.”
